- Darijo, what do you make of Anzhi?
- They have just started to build their team. The result does not come within two or three months. It takes a long time. I think that they have strong players and a good coach, but they need time to make a quality team of the Shakhtar level.

- What was it like to play against Eto'o, Zhirkov? 
- This was our last game of the training camp, a very important game. After this match we will have training sessions as well as games for the national teams. We will come back right before the beginning of the second part of the season. Today, Shakhtar showed a high level of performance; a good, productive display. We demonstrated the quality. It is also clear that Mister has already done his work, which has been very important.

- You have played six matches in Turkey without suffering a single defeat. Moreover, the level of the opponents has been quite high...
- Training camps are very difficult, for we go through considerable workloads and heavy trainings. When playing against Shakhtar, every team gives its best. The important thing is that we do not have many injured players, for we are about to play very difficult matches in the league - 10 matches plus the Cup games. I think that after today's game our fans can be happy. We are looking forward to the next home game against Dnipro. Obviously, we are expecting a packed stadium.

- After the match, you talked about something with Gus Hiddink. What did you wish each other?
- He is a top coach, and I was very pleased to talk with him. I have already played against his teams four times. He said that we had a quality squad and wished us luck. I, too, wished him luck at Anzhi.
