The "Shakhtar" goalkeeper Andriy Pyatov has spoken on the first national training camp after Oleg Blokhin's return as a national manager.

—    Andriy, when did you join up with your countrymen?

—    The way it should be, on 27th May.

—    How did you spend your only day-off?

—    With my family.

—    Has the national team gathered in full?

—    Today we are expecting only Voronin and Dykanya to arrive. The rest are already here.

—    How are you building up to Uzbekistan?

—    As ever… Today we are having two sessions a day. And yesterday it was only one plus theory.

—    Has Oleg Blokhin held a special pre-match meeting? What issues have you discussed there?

—    Yeah, we have got a big meeting. And first of all he called us to discipline. But actually it is a usual thing, as everyone understands what we are doing here. The coach also said us to forget all club affairs whether it is wins or defeats. All our thoughts must be concentrated on the national appearances, as this squad comes first. This is a question of prestige. And we know that. So we are building up well before the games.

—    How much do you know about Uzbekistan national team?

—    I know Denisova and Shatskikh. These are players of a high level. They proved it long time ago. Besides, I think there are no weak rivals now.

—    Now the many expects somewhat of a miracle. They are awaiting attacking and more aggressive football to be shown by our side. Has the coach drawn your attention to this aspect?

—    He is a man of saying once. He does not like to repeat his words twice. He asked us to give our all on the pitch. And everybody agreed, of course. We perfectly understand that each of us should deserve to be enlisted and to start. Every of our games must prove it.

—    And the final question. What impressed you about the Champions League final? Were you disappointed with MU performance?

—    The first ten or fifteen minutes MU were trying to counter back "Barcelona". But of course it was hard and impossible to steal the ball every time. So I think "Barcelona" grabbed that win quite fairly. They have deserved the trophy due to such an amazing play.
